sorry for this late - second - answer.
openoffice 3.x is not able to format/convert decently the so-called .docx
files out of MS_office2010, one of the newest corporate tricks.
i noticed this (again) when i tried to make a proper print of a docx file for
my youngest son with openoffice under squeeze. that did not work out well, so
that i had to atart a hd with windows_7 and msoffice10 on it.
