I am having similar problems with a Dell system that used to run an older version of Debian without problems (which had to temporarily be wiped to do some testing of Windows 7, and now I'm trying to put a fresh install of Debian on it). I haven't been able to even figure out how to phrase my question to ask about it on this list, because the errors are so inconsistent. One thing I have noticed that's different from your description is that even if the machine boots up all the way, it's not necessarily stable for more than a few hours. -- Kent -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
