All messages are send to all list subscribers.
So, for some reason I am not getting sent back to me as a list
subscriber the posts I make to the list. As a workaround I move from
"sent" to my Icedove "debian-user" folder such posts.
Presumably you've checked your Junk and/or spam folders, or any rules
that you may have recently added/changed?
The missing messages have not appeared in the Junk folder for any of my
e-mail accounts.
As for spam folders, I ran as root from / the following: "find -iname
spam"; nothing was returned. Syslog does however show that spamd is
activated on boot. I looked at the spamassassin manual page, which makes
reference to a plethora of configuration files, which I could not
understand, but no information as to *how* to use spamassassin. I also
tried googling for a howto -- or info in any form -- about how to use
spamassassin but could find nothing.
Finally I did discover that all the replies to my original post have a
red question mark in the "fireball" column in the list for each Icedove
folder, as well as a few other messages in my debian-user folder. I
presume that a question mark in such locations means that that message
is suspected junk or spam.
Hmmm. I just viewed your email source and even though your domain is
heard.name, I see gmail buried in there. So, you get a vanity domain
and then use {imap,smtp}.googlemail.com?
