If you want to make *absolutely* sure that users *will* try editing a file -- any file -- you just need to make it read-only and write DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE in it. Hmmm. For my next research project, I shall write DO NOT JUMP WITHOUT ATTACHING THE ROPE FIRST on a bungee rope ...

The results are bound to be fascinating.
