To ease your access to the land of Linux I would suggest you download and try PCLinuxOS. www.pclinuxos.com IT is a 32bit system and comes in many flavours of DEs I personally run KDE. It is a very good place to start. I have a Ubuntu /Kununtu desktop server and it runs well but my workstations are PCLinuxOS. Gerald
