I never got to the mdadm --assemble because of the mdadm:/dev/sda1 exists but is not an md array. ERROR! The curious question that exists is "why were md125,md126, created when I tried to build the /dev/md2 array. The only difference is the versions of mdadm used 3 years ago and ~10 days ago....
