I simply put in my home directory a file .fetchmailrc like the following

defaults
forcecr
limit 256000
poll mail.mymail.it with proto pop3 \
user l.bus with password qt4f9
fetchall
poll mail.lib.it with proto pop3 \
user vc with password raa
fetchall

and then I issue a 'fetchmail' command. That's all
