1)  Ekiga's echo test number ([email protected]) doesn't always work right.
2)  NAT problems can give you one-way communication (sound but no mic,
and vice-versa)

I suggest that you get an account at iptel.org and use their echo test
([email protected]) with your Ekiga software to do your tests.  Iptel has a
really good system that pretty much eliminates NAT problems (for me, at
least).
