Actually, I've *never* got their 3D kernel blob working on any box, no matter what kernel version if was using. Always produced hard-lockups as soon the driver god accessed (in some versions already when loading it). I've analyzed the machine code a bit, and that showed up horrible things like self-modifying code and certain anti-debugging measures. That's why I'd _never_ approve it to any production systems, even if it seems to work. I simply _cannot_ trust it. cu -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Enrico Weigelt, metux IT service -- http://www.metux.de/ phone: +49 36207 519931 email: weig...@metux.de mobile: +49 151 27565287 icq: 210169427 skype: nekrad666 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Embedded-Linux / Portierung / Opensource-QM / Verteilte Systeme ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
