Thank you Camaleón, it's very hard for me to read/write his messages - it's not a language I'm fluent in. I'm fairly certain his ISP is ETECSA (is there another Cuban ISP?) - absolutely no clues as to how he connects (UMTS/dialup/ISDN/ADSL etc.) - no idea where he got the idea he needs mschap -v2 - which I've never worked with - suspect it default requires ISP to authenticate itself.... You'd think he'd try user support first - especially seeing as how ETECSA is the only ISP I've heard of that does free home visits for support. I'd have hoped/expected that Cuba would mandate Linux - not bloody send all their money to NA!
