I assume your 'device' is running some *nix variant, in which case it doesn't seem that hard (i've never tried it, i'm just judging by the search results). However, "snapshots every second" are not what i'd call a "live feed". In that case, as a suggestion, just use the same file name for every snapshot and have an html page with a meta refresh.
