I have to agree with that.  I have tried WINE for individual apps, and dosemu,
bochs/plex, but they are just not as mature.  We use VMWare (running on RH7.3)
in our Operating Systems lab at school.  It is great.  I downloaded it and got
a demo license and will probably buy it in the very near future.  It provides
great flexibility, but as soon as one of the Free packages catches up in
functionality (I have Win98 and WinNT4 CDs from a long time ago around, and 
of course I won't buy any new ones) to where I can do what I do now, I will
switch.  Unfortunately, this is just one of those cases where free sfotware
is still lagging, but gaining quick.
