I recently was in the need of a headset for Ekiga and went to that page to retrieve more data about supported devices but there is very little information, indeed :-( So I asked in another mailing list to get feedback about the status of these devices in Debian. People recommended wired USB headsets and I finally purchased ones from Plantronics (Plantronics .Audio™ 626) that work like a charm with Ekiga (automatically detected and very good sound quality).
