I have both a Sidux and a Squeeze install at the moment. Usability wise they're roughly the same, though Sidux is generally faster about getting fixes in place. Neither Sidux nor Squeeze will be as stable as... stable, however. I think choosing between the two really comes down to what you want from your distro. Sidux provides a pre-configured desktop install with a later kernel and a few nice usability scripts. If you want a pre-configued KDE4 or XFCE install and don't mind doing some maintenance then Sidux is worth exploring. If not, then I personally wouldn't bother.
