It should be solved, rebooting the router. It's just a generic router so my wife can share our cable connection on her (Windows XP) computer. It happens so irregularly it may be an attack of some sort. And its always cured by a reboot. Still I'd like to get to the bottom of it because it fills up logs quickly sending that dhcprequest every 4 or 5 seconds.
