The hardware specs look similar to a Dell Mini 10v, which I had to install Squeeze due to audio hardware not being supported in Lenny, due to the alsa-conf version after much research on my part. Posted to this list a while back and the end result for me, was to use Squeeze. Had to install b43-fwcutter for wireless, but after that everything works splendid. Can't speak to the battery life, but assuming they benchmarked it running XP you'd think the battery life is attainable with Debian right? P.S.
