you may use 'apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.18-686' and you'll install 
 all the needed packages.

Does anyone know how to get lm-sensors-2.4.18-1-686 .deb files ?

Should I compile it from the lm-sensors-source package? What is the 
easiest way to do this?
