Being happy with evolution, nevertheless I gave thunderbird a try. It looks very nice, _BUT_: If you get a html-mail it loads images from the net. I found no way do disable that. Since this is the best known method for spammers to verify the email as rcvd&read, this program just begs for more spam. Don't use it until this is repaired. Since I know the quality of mozilla I am quite sure they will solve this problem.
