Problem: Now that I understand to enter about:config in the search field I can find plugin.expose_full_path but cannot edit the value to change it from false to true. I have tried a number of key combinations that work with other editors but none worked. In addition the iceape now has a problem retrieving mail - reports a security problem and a login failure. I have changed nothing other than the changes mentioned in this thread and with identical settings in preferences/security and accont settings/server settings I can retrieve mail with my other computer.
