i just now ran into this:

is there a fixed version of that? "aptitude update" shows nothing,
and that seems like a fairly major error, given that it prevents the
program from working at all.
or i could just patch it as above and carry on.

p.s. i've got sources.list configured to use only lenny, so it's
possible that there's a fixed version in testing.
