Just for the record, there's also loop-AES out there ;-) quoting from its README: (swapoff -a) add the following line to /etc/fstab (adapted to your sys ofc) /dev/hda666 none swap sw,loop=/dev/loop6,encryption=AES128 0 0 then just once mkswap /dev/hda666 (swapon -a) and yar done. -- left blank, right bald
