It may also be a problem with the hibernate package, or with swsusp or
Software Suspend 2. There are a number of options for blacklisting
modules, as well as loading/unloading modules during suspend, that might
be affecting you.

After a resume, try manually loading and unloading your ethernet module,
and see if the problem goes away. If it does, you'll just need to make
the appropriate adjustments in your hibernate scripts.
