Just go to http://goodbye-microsoft.com/, install debian and you will get a free and more powerful OS and maybe even some support from this list. It will also free you from the lock imposed by having to succumb to silly licence conditions, that often prevent efficient use of your computer (for example to get a full backup or a running system).
