Hi list, I noticed that in a recent upgrade, HAL started requiring PolicyKit. I'd really like to avoid having PolicyKit installed on my system (it's like a parallel system of security that I know neither how it works nor how my incomplete knowledge of it may be exploited); is there any way I can avoid it and still keep HAL installed?
