Perhaps a bit OT, but I've just bought a Samsung 2571N laser printer. With the ppd file downloaded from the above site I could print text files OK but not graphics or pdf. This was using lprng, not cups; I don't know if that makes a difference. Anyhow, I went to my trusty standby, magicfilter, and everything works perfectly. I'm using the laserjet-filter which is not intended for this printer but seems to have no problems with it.
