Good day. How I can install grub in MBR on the disk where to I've copied a warking OS if
grub-install /dev/sda says: File stage2 is not read properly - or something like that. And it is not get installed into MBR. What I did is: copied all the files to root on an empty partition did copy /dev to it from the rescue CD of kUbuntu (I did not have Debian CD at the moment though I was copying Debian 4r6) did chroot to that dir and ran the grub-install - above command.
