Hi,

you have to create the torrent with a valid tracker, like

http://linuxtracker.org:2710/announce

for www.linuxtracker.org. You can use several.

Once the torrent file is created it is pretty much useless without being
announced, so upload your .torrent file to the tracker of your choice
and download the resulting one with your announce pid. That's it, you
should begin to seed, and others will be able to download the .torrent file.
Have a look at some trackers faq's or forum, they usually have detailed
explanations for each and every torrent clients, like here:

It is usually required to create an account and log in before being able
to upload any torrent.

Of course you could set up your own tracker and privately announced
torrent, but this is completely different procedure and not always
possible with every torrent client. It is at least with Azureus/Vuze.
