After a fresh install of Squeeze/Gnome, I setup my desktop the way I usually do: 1152x864, and fonts set a 10, looks good. If I had better eyes, I'd set them smaller. After reboot, everything seems big again. I reset to 1280x1024, looks ok. Reboot. Everything is big again.. looks like 800x600. Screen resolution still set at 1280x1024, with 10pt. system wide fonts. This used to work in Lenny.... am I missing something?
