Squeeze is definitely not Stable, it's Testing ;-) . I am running Squeeze since Lenny is Stable (was running Lenny/testing before), and it's going pretty smooth. From what I see on the lists and forum it's in better shape right now than Sid. But there's still plenty of changes ahead, still no security updates, so there's a good probability that things will break to some extend in the near future. Keep a partition with Stable somewhere, just in case. Install apt-listbugs and apt-listchanges, have a look at the bug reports for the packages that you consider crucial, and you shouldn't go through too many hoops.
