I had the same problem as initially reported in this thread by Marcelo. I only noticed the issue after I saw the discussion here - I do not really use acroread very much anymore - and I did not investigate any further after reading here that simply waiting for the new version of acroread-debian-files should be enough. However, I found that I had a new problem after upgrading to version 0.0.32: ERROR: Cannot find installation directory. I had to run echo -n "8.1.4" > /usr/lib/Adobe/Reader8/Reader/AcroVersion as root to make acroread work again. Do you still get the "No such file or directory" error messages with acroread-debian-files version 0.0.32? -- Regards, | http://users.icfo.es/Florian.Kulzer Florian | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
