Hmmm, if what you say is true, I'd better double-check. I don't have access to the machine in question right now, though, so I can't tell you which kernel module it uses. My receipt says the adapter I got was "Edimax EW-7318USg 54G 802.11 b/g". The model was sold at http://lugradio.org/live/UK2008/ specifically as "Just Works With Linux", which in my experience it did: that would have been with Ubuntu/Hardy, though, not Debian.
