http://www.debian.org/distrib/ If you have a descent connection CD 1 is fine. If you have access to a descent connection but you intend to install at a location that doesn't have the greatest connection the DVD's might be better for you. CD 1 will get you a base system installed including a desktop environment and then you will be able to retrieve any additional packages and updates via the net. You can chose between 32 or 64 bit.
