Asterix is a comics character. Asterisk (*) is a PBX. Asterix is s/ks$/x/ to Asterisk, as this is the first character used for for comments. The second character is a dagger, or an obelisk (†), and thus Asterix' sidekick is Obelix. Or a different example: cat <<EOF >article.tex \documentclass{article} \title{The\thanks{Asterisk} Title\thanks{Obelisk}} \begin{document} \maketitle \end{document} EOF pdflatex article.tex xpdf article.pdf See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asterix And don't forget: http://web.archive.org/web/20080101030041/http://mobilix.org/ -- Tzafrir Cohen | tzaf...@jabber.org | VIM is http://tzafrir.org.il | | a Mutt's tzaf...@cohens.org.il | | best ICQ# 16849754 | | friend -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
