So it's a normal file, with a size of zero bytes, with an odd name. 
(Assuming "ls" has not been compromised.)

Some miscreant app somewhere allowed the creation of a file named by a 
fat-fingered keystroke. Try different apps to delete it (mc, OO.o, GIMP, 
etc).
