I have since tried compiling the kernel in a clean lenny debootstrap chroot sucessfully. Strangely is was called, linux-xenu-2.6.27_2.6.27-10.00.Custom_amd64.deb But it boots and works, must be a version incompatibility somewhere, I still have etch repositories in my sources list so something must be held but not reported. This install was a test install to iron all the bugs out of my new laptop and I always intended on a fresh final install as soon as I figure out how to get everything working. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
