Contrary to what most of us in the UK think - 'uk' is not the country
code, but 'gb' is.
Try using the following:
Option "XkbLayout" "gb"
Thanks! You were absolutely right. The funniest thing is I was aware of
the 'gb' country code, but somehow I forgot about that... The 'uk' code
was too 'suggestive' :)
