Kmail stores it's attachments in /tmp/kde-[your-wifes-account-name]/kmail[eg-any-number]/[complete-attachments-name] as long as kmail with the certain attachment the letter is open. So because of the third part of the path is changed every time, OO can't really find it. To solve the problem just store the attachment in /tmp, open Konquereor and everything is fine. Maybe one coult use Kword? And when the machine is stopped, /tmp will be cleared. As long as the mail isn't deleted, it will stay as it is.
