That's because he's using Sid and you are either using Lenny or an outdated Sid. For the latter, try 'aptitude update && aptitude upgrade'. For the former, there's a bug[0] in the version currently in lenny that's causing your problem, try this workaround proposed in a comment[1] in the bug report: > Copy /usr/share/doc/moc/examples/config.example.gz $HOME/.moc/ > gunzip $HOME/.moc/config.example.gz and mv config.example > config.
