No, it's just that it takes more than 5 hours sometimes to get an
answer. This is not a bug anywhere; what you're seeing is that aptitude
reads a lot of data and causes the buffer cache to expand.

Thanks for your answer. I was you know hunting for free memory since my
system is only having 128MB which tend to be not enough those days (even
with Linux).
