I couldn't ssh it from another box, the system was collapsed.

Please see following syslog after restarting the debian box, it is an
Ethernet port Enclosure and it is connected over Ethernet cable.

Mar 10 08:38:57 debian kernel: ndas-13122791-0: unknown partition table
Mar 10 08:38:57 debian kernel: ndas: /dev/ndas-13122791-0 enabled
Mar 10 08:49:10 debian kernel: ndas: IO error occurred at sector

Mar 10 08:49:10 debian kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev

Mar 10 08:49:10 debian kernel: Buffer I/O error on device
ndas-13122791-0, logical block 0
Mar 10 08:49:10 debian kernel: lost page write due to I/O error on
ndas-13122791-0
Mar 10 08:49:10 debian kernel: ndas: /dev/ndas-13122791-0 is disabled
Mar 10 08:50:21 debian kernel: ndas: can't read NDAS control device.
Mar 10 08:53:15 debian kernel: ndas-13122791-0: p1
Mar 10 08:53:15 debian kernel: ndas: /dev/ndas-13122791-0 enabled

Should I try to format the HDD again (I guess it will be stuck again),
or could the enclosure and HDD got hardware problem?

Thanks Ron.

Kind Regards,

Jim
