FM band goes from 87.5 - 108 MHz. My 486DX4-100 runs at 100 MHz. Its no joke but I agree it sounds funny. I have two boxes coming from Idaho (thanks to a fellow debian user who took pity on me in the thread "low-MHz server"), one is a dual-CPU P-133 and the other, I think, is a P-75. I'll have to check the spectrum chart and see what bands those are in, but it won't be as recognizable as "the FM band". I guess my old 386-DX33 ran just above the short-wave band.
