Mine is as well. And it's going to stay alive for at least the foreseeable future - even after being in service since spring 2001. :) If true, one could go i686, but is anyone aware of what differences there are in a k7 versus i686 kernel? One would assume on the face of it is that k7 is optimized for athlons, but does anyone know just what is done? I think it might be more than just gcc with -mtune=thunderbird or some analog.
