I have installed lpr and apsfilter to drive my HP DeskJet 660C. During apsfilterconfig, I chose [ijs/DESKJET_660] as th printer driver.
I couldn't pass print test. It failed with the msg: sh: hpijs command not found GNU Ghostscript 6.53: Can't start ijs server "hpijs" **** Unable to open the initial device, quitting
I have done apt-get update and upgrade. It doesn't help.
BTW, I know about CUPS. My printing will be text or webpage only. What I have installed should be sufficient, right?
