I'd say this is the problem.
It looks like a bug, so should be reported, but if you remove the Hash # your 
card should pick up on the first option.
It's obvious that's what you've selected, but transfer to config hasn't been 
clean, and xserver-xorg has opted for a 'safe' optimal.
