On this list, we're users. With debian, you only need to reinstall if a drive (non RAID) breaks or you build a new machine. IOW, we don't do it very often. We also don't know the installer internals. You will get more prompt and more expert advice on the debian-boot list. Ensure that you have read the installation manual and follow the instructions for sumitting an installation report (in your case with most things failed). It ends up on the debian-boot list and replies from the boot team (who wrote the installer) go there too. You should subscribe to debian-boot until the problem is solved.
