Define forward. I see from later posts that you want to revert to Woody. I have a complete set (all 7 CDs) of Woody, but I'm on dialup so it would take about a month to upload them somewhere for you. Also, there have been tonnes of security fixes to Debian since they came out. Why would you want an unsecure OS on your server? What is the root cause of needing to keep using Woody? I first installed Woody on my IBM 486. I upgraded it to Sarge although it didn't have enough memory (only 32 MB) to run Sarge's installer. I was unable to upgrade it from Sarge to Etch, even though it was running a 2.6 kernel by then, due to a libc6 mess. I did a drive swap: installed Etch fresh on the drive on another box and swapped the drive back, but found that Etch crawled on it. Moved that box to OpenBSD and it flies again. So, if your hardware will not run Etch and you need to continue using your hardware, switch to OpenBSD. Otherwise, move to new hardware. What kind of hardware is this? What is this box used for? Ultimately, what do you hope to accomplish? Doug. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
