My first file manager was Norton Commander (the original). When the first Explorer appeared (in Windows 95) I hated it so I started looking for alternatives. Former Windows Commander now Total Commander was the only one to work the way I wanted. On Linux I use MC and tried various file managers that come close to TC. I like Krusader (though a bit slow) and Xfe (has some troubles on drag-and-drop to audacious). Regards, Andrei -- If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
