Sort of, yes. Konq has a "Run terminal" option which comes in handy for situations where you are going through a bunch of files in directories and want to open a shell in the directory Konqueror is currently visiting. Very handy, in situations where you can't get *into* the directories with shell (or it's very inconvenient) because some software or other has named a directory with leading hyphens or puts spaces in where they shouldn't be.
