Thanks, Johannes. I did not realize that OOo could read HTML. I just tried OOo on the HeVeA output (which is claimed to conform to the HTML standard), and it works reasonably well. The only real problem is that some of the characters are rendered by code such as: A0; 2013; 2014; 2026; 201C; 201D; So, unless OOo has a switch to enable these characters to be rendered properly, I need to do a search-and-replace on them before converting to M$ Word .doc format.
