I've been meaning to review the intel bugs because i've been frustrated configuring it as well for an lcd monitor. I've had to trial-and-error my way into a modeline that works for our monitor and then convince the driver to use that modeline. It doesn't seem to behave in ways that make sense to me. Could you post up your xorg.conf? A
